West Indies vs India | 4th Test Match-Day 1 Highlights | Aug 18 - 2016

1_x264 by powerfactory It was a sluggish start to the 4th and final Test between these two sides, as only 22 overs of play was possible due to heavy and continuous rain.
Earlier in the day, West Indies won the toss and elected to bat first. India for a change went with only 4 frontline bowlers, as they strengthened their batting lineup by including Cheteshwar Pujara in the playing XI. The openers started off well for the Windies, with Kraigg Brathwaite once again putting up a solid show with the bat. However, his partner Leon Johnson failed to contribute for the second straight time as he got out to Ishant Sharma after making only 9 runs.
In the few overs of play, there was also a minuscule battle that took place between a left-hander and an off-spinner. Darren Bravo, who had just hit R.Ashwin for a boundary straight back over his head, was cleaned up with a beauty from the offie on the very next ball.
Brathwaite (32) and Marlon Samuels (4) were out at the crease when the rain started to pour down. As no more play was possible, the score remained at 66/2 at the end of Day 1.
